Archery Beginners Course - Friday 4th September 2026 at 2000 hours.

Mearns Archers are hosting another of our hugely popular beginners courses. This six week long course starts on Friday 4th September at 2000 hours for a one hour period each session. The aim is to introduce students to all aspects of archery, including how to shoot, safety in archery, different types of bows and of course, there will be plenty of target practice!

The course will take place at Mearns Academy Community Campus (access via the steps to the all-weather pitches) in the smaller of the two sports halls. All equipment is provided at no extra charge. Everybody who signs up will receive a finger sling, a finger tab and a notebook which are yours to keep.

Please note there is a minimum age limit of 10 years old and as spaces are limited, early booking is recommended.
